Employee boards
An employee board is a board scoped to your org tree's people instead of a project's tickets — the same groups, columns, and bulk actions as a project board, applied to headcount planning, onboarding trackers, or team rosters.

What it shows, and how it relates to the main board
An employee board looks and behaves like a project board — groups, drag-and-drop rows, bulk actions, sort, filter, search — but its rows are people on this org tree, not tickets from a connected source. Create one from the org tree's + New board control; a tree can hold as many boards as you need (one per sub-team, for example), and a board can be scoped to a subset of the tree instead of everyone on it.
Columns are configurable per board from the Columns control: the built-ins are Name, Title, Email, Manager, Start date, Type, Time type, Location, Phone, Salary (if you're permitted to see it), and Rating — plus any custom Text, Number, Date, Checkbox, Dropdown, or Link column you add from the same panel. Reorder or hide any column; delete only removes custom ones.
The Rating column shows each person's leaderboard badge and opens their card's Ranking tab on click — see Contribution ranking for what it's measuring.
How to work with an employee board
- + New board — from the org tree's tab strip, name the board; it starts with one empty group.
- + Add existing / + Add new employee — pull people already on the tree onto the board, or create a brand-new person directly from the board, optionally under a manager.
- + Add new group — group people however you like: sub-team, cohort, location.
- Columns — show, hide, reorder, or + Add column to create a Text, Number, Date, Checkbox, Dropdown, or Link field.
- Filter / Sort — narrow or order the board by any built-in column.
- Select rows — check a row to reveal bulk actions for moving the selection to another group or removing it from the board.
Under the hood
Removing someone from an employee board only removes their board membership — it doesn't delete them from the org tree. Editing a built-in field here (name, email, location, and the rest) writes back to the same employee record shown on the org chart and in the Ranking tab, so a change is visible everywhere, not only on this board.
If it looks wrong
