Board settings
Board-level settings live in a small drawer opened from the view row, separate from the Columns panel that controls what the grid itself shows.

What it does, and where the data comes from
The Settings button next to the view tabs opens a drawer with the board's Owners manager front and center. An Access section and a Board info section are present as placeholders for future rename/archive/delete and per-board IAM controls.
The Columns panel
Separately, the toolbar's Columns button opens a checklist of every column on the grid — Item is always visible and can't be hidden, then Owner/Assignee/Status, then your custom columns (each deletable with its own ×), then the remaining system columns (Start date, End date, Due date, Duration, Source, Updated, Classification — Source only shows once a source is connected). Check or uncheck any row to show or hide it; + Add column sits at the bottom.
The Onboard control
On a recruitment-kind board only, the item detail panel shows an Onboard → org tree control on each candidate row. Picking an org tree and confirming turns that row into an employee there — carrying over name, role, salary expectation, and target start date — and the control then shows a done state. It never appears on Development or Blank boards.
If it looks wrong
